Reluctantly parting with Firefly, our 2002 Bridges Point 24 (Hull No. BQP00058K102).
Firefly spent her first 18 years on Lake Champlain under the watchful eye of a long time club
member, where she wintered indoors in a classic Vermont barn. We bought Firefly in the
summer of 2020 and made many updates (listed below), including a complete overhaul and
3,000 hour service of the Yanmar 1GM diesel engine, new North 3DI Main and Jib with
battens, and coaming and woodwork stripping & varnish. A roller furler and new cabin–top
winch and clutch were installed to help with short–handed sailing.
Firefly has been lightly sailed in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island the past three years (June
through labor day) and stored indoors each winter. She comes with a Custom 2003 Karavan
KKRT–4100–78 Boat Trailer (Vin#5KTBS25253F078021) (new tires summer 2021).
You will not find a Bridges Point 24 in better condition or better cared for than Firefly.
